Assistant Company Secretary – Financial Services
£50,000 - £60,000 Base salary

This global financial services company is hiring a qualified Assistant Company Secretary with regulated experience to assist the Company Secretarial team with day-to-day governance, projects and meeting support.
Seeking someone with experience in Financial Services and Banking. You will be working in a well-known and respected global organisation with a team that pushes the boundaries of governance both in the UK and globally.
The role:
* Help manage the governance infrastructure necessary to manage a growing and fast-changing group.
* Management of end-to-end committee and exco support.
* You will keep the governance framework and the policies and processes that support good governance up to date to reflect changes in governance as well as to reflect legal, regulatory and market developments
* Provide expert company law and governance advice and support to stakeholders
* Manage the statutory books and filings, ensuring that all filings are made promptly
* Meeting support and governance, including minute taking (primarily at the executive level but with some minuting of board and board committee level and other meetings).
* Manage the insurance arrangements and oversee the annual renewal process
* Shareholder communication and relationships
Requirements:
* ICSA qualification as a company secretary or a qualified solicitor - required
* 3+ years of work experience in governance and company secretarial
* Experience working at in Financial Services
* Ability to effectively plan and execute projects to build relationships and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
* Excellent attention to detail
