Job Title: National Operations Manager
Location: North West or East Midlands, Hybrid Remote (including field-based site visits)
Salary: £50,000 + Car Allowance
About You:
As the National Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional security services to our clients. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional ready to manage, develop, and inspire a talented team of Service Delivery Managers, Supervisors, and Officers. Through your leadership, we’ll meet and exceed client expectations with unparalleled service, efficiency, and innovative solutions.
Job Opportunity
Define and Shape the Account Strategy:
* Build strong, partnership-focused relationships with clients.
* Align with Securitas’s UK strategy, leveraging the full expertise of the Securitas Group and its partners.
* Forecast and meet current and future demand by ensuring the right resources and support.
* Develop and introduce added-value services for clients.
Drive Performance and Exceed Expectations:
* Cultivate a culture of engagement by connecting with each officer monthly, supporting development, and recognizing achievements.
* Ensure staffing levels align with service requirements, recruiting and managing teams as per company standards.
* Keep all documentation up to date, managing risk effectively and consistently delivering quality service.
* Report incidents as per company policies, and assist in minimizing indirect costs and non-chargeable expenses.
* Share “best practices” to improve team performance, reduce avoidable costs, and enhance service quality.
Lead and Inspire a High-Performing Team:
* Embed Securitas’s core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness in everything your team does.
* Provide your team with the necessary training, tools, and feedback to help them succeed.
* Maintain open communication, celebrate team achievements, and build a sense of community within the Securitas family.
* Ensure all team members understand and adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and compliance standards.
* Plan for future staffing needs, ensuring the team is always prepared to deliver at a high level.
Contribute to Company Growth and Development:
* Engage in Securitas’s strategic planning, collaborating on company and regional projects.
* Share insights and best practices with other branches and support functions, contributing to company-wide improvements.
Essential Skills
What We’re Looking For:
* Essential: SIA Licence (Frontline), clean UK driving license, strong IT, communication, and organizational skills.
* Desirable: Knowledge of P&L accounting, portfolio management, experience with Microsoft packages, and background in risk management or technology solutions.
