POSITION OVERVIEW
Aman is seeking a detail-oriented Copywriter to craft compelling narratives and copy across the Aman Group portfolio, including Aman and Janu hotels & resorts and Residences. This work needs to adhere to the Aman Group’s ethos, elevating both the Aman and Janu brands while also fine-tuning copy for commercial sensibilities. This role requires meticulous execution and the ability to adapt tone to suit different channels and collateral, ensuring consistency and refinement across all written materials. From guest-facing content to sales materials and copy employed across our digital verticals, the Copywriter will play a key role in upholding the group’s elevated voice.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Editorial & Brand Storytelling
* Create compelling narratives that embody both Aman and Janu’s ethos and elevate brand perception across print and digital platforms.
* Develop editorial content for brand publications and digital channels to enhance guest engagement.
* Ensure all storytelling maintains an authentic, refined and immersive tone suited to a luxury audience.
Luxury Developments & Commercial Writing
* Produce high-quality written content, including brochures, sales materials, press releases and website copy, for luxury developments.
* Adapt tone and language to suit different collateral, ensuring a seamless transition between commercial copy and brand storytelling.
* Work closely with the design and marketing teams to ensure copy enhances and complements the brand’s visual identity.
Multichannel Content Adaptation
* Write and edit copy for on-property materials and a variety of digital platforms, including websites and social media.
* Tailor messaging for specific audiences, adjusting tone and approach depending on the communication goal.
* Ensure all copy adheres to brand guidelines and maintains consistency in language and messaging.
Collaboration & Strategic Input
* Work closely with creative teams, marketing and development partners to align content with brand objectives.
* Contribute to content strategy, ensuring all written materials are aligned with the overall brand positioning and market trends.
* Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, elegance and grammatical precision.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Proven experience as a copywriter within luxury hospitality, residential or lifestyle sectors.
* Strong portfolio demonstrating a refined, editorial approach to luxury brand writing.
* Ability to adapt tone and style depending on the channel, with experience balancing commercial writing with storytelling.
* Exceptional command of written English, with a meticulous eye for detail and linguistic nuance.
* Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interpret complex creative briefs effectively.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
* 3-5 years’ experience within a similar role is ideal.
* Cultural understanding and experience with Middle Eastern and Asian markets (preferred).
