Our Client: A premier IT Solutions provider, is looking to hire a dynamic HR Advisor to join their dedicated HR team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in planning, designing, delivering, and promoting positive wellbeing across the business. This position involves coaching managers to resolve employee relations cases and supporting HR Business Partners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactive Case Management: Provide end-to-end case management for managers of varying seniority levels for all employee relations cases, including capability, misconduct, grievance, attendance management, investigations, and appeals, except for high-risk complex cases managed by HR Business Partners.
* Tribunal Support: Assist in the preparation for employment tribunal hearings as necessary.
* Data-Driven Attendance Management: Use data insights to work with managers on proactively managing attendance, including progressing complex and specialist occupational health assessments or professional interventions.
* Risk-Based Case Resolution: Provide detailed risk-based options for resolving cases to enable informed decision-making by managers and decision makers.
* Employee Lifecycle Support: Support other areas of the employee lifecycle such as recruitment, reward, policy, talent management, and employee experience as needed.
* Manager Coaching and Training: Coach and upskill managers to handle employee relations cases and support them on other matters throughout the employee lifecycle.
* Collaboration with HR Business Partners: Work with HR Business Partners to manage employee relations cases to conclusion by providing regular updates, seeking advice, or escalating high-risk cases, appeals, or concerns as appropriate.
Experience and Skills:
* HR Systems Proficiency: Experience in updating and using HR systems.
* Employee Relations Expertise: Proven experience in a HR Advisor or Employee Relations Advisor role, including coaching and developing managers of varying seniority to independently resolve diverse employee relations cases.
* Documentation Skills: Ability to create comprehensive case management documentation, including investigation reports, outcome letters, and risk-based options for resolving cases.
* People Management Capability: Enhance and develop the people management capability of managers through coaching, influencing, and learning interventions.
* Practical and Logical Approach: Ability to work practically and logically using own initiative.
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a positive attitude to customer care.
* Employment Legislation Knowledge: Sound understanding of employment legislation and regulatory bodies to manage employee relations cases to conclusion.
* Risk Mitigation: Ability to proactively identify and mitigate risk, providing options to managers to support informed decision-making.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to listen actively and build rapport quickly with key stakeholders.
* Organizational Skills: Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize situations and mitigate risks.
* Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
