We are a large, successful, and richly diverse comprehensive school adjacent to Calderstones Park, South Liverpool and are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our close-knit SEND Team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our amazing school on a permanent basis and work with our SEND team and teaching staff to support students in the classroom. Experience of working with young people (age 11-19) with SEND, and an awareness of neurodiversity is essential. You will either have a nationally recognised qualification in a relevant field or be willing to work towards one. A good standard of numeracy and literacy to GCSE grade C (or equivalent) is essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This role would suit someone with energy and enthusiasm for learning, who is calm, patient, and compassionate. The successful candidate will be able to support students in the classroom to fully access our outstanding curriculum, cultural events and enrichment activities.
The hours of work are 8.35 am – 3.05 pm, Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour unpaid break during the day. This role is term-time only.
