Oracle is hiring for an exceptional Director of Sales Development to help accelerate our YoY growth through revenue generation, and recruit, mentor and develop the next generation of sales talent to the organisation.
This senior position requires a strong, ambitious, hands-on leader who has experience in inside sales or SDR programs and strong analytical skills. Extensive management experience is essential. The successful candidate must also have significant track record of engaging with sales leaders over their sales execution strategy and demonstrating through results how SDRs can accelerate achievement of this.

Your Responsibilities
1. Setting expectations with senior sales and marketing management through timely and accurate forecasting, pipeline and sales activity/program metrics reporting.
2. Motivating individuals to succeed through impassioned leadership, coaching, creative sales incentives, and broadcast of results.
3. Implementing process optimization and governance, to accelerate the sales funnel through monitoring pipeline progression, requalifying stalled opportunities and improving conversion rates.
4. Creating and developing programs and campaigns in conjunction with Sales, Business Development and Marketing.
5. Data analysis and reporting for action-oriented accountability and improvement of performance metrics and providing transparency to stakeholders.
6. Developing plans to foster a competitive and collaborative team environment.
7. Driving program and participant success; investing in the success of the team and going above and beyond to mentor individuals.
8. Owning the recruiting process for future SDRs and management.
9. Refining and critiquing processes and ensuring adherence within the team and with stakeholders.
10. Serving as an active coach for SDRs and FLMs, preparing them for regular reviews with their stakeholders and senior management team.
11. Acquiring and maintaining a working knowledge of the complete capabilities of Oracle Applications product offerings.
12. Collaborate with peers globally on best practice, governance and enablement.
Critical Success Factors for Year One
1. Ensure achievement of multi-billion pipeline target, with SDR contribution to be >20%.
2. Reduce time to first touch of all Inbound leads to <24 hours and ensure this benchmark is routinely achieved.
3. Deliver tangible conversion rate improvement on core lead types, and embed robust benchmark framework to drive continual performance improvement.
4. Ensure the team delivers and exceeds target against other key performance metrics such as pipeline contribution, productivity, pipeline progression, and high participation per SDR.
5. Deliver on our People agenda.
6. Embrace professionalism, integrity, respect, and teamwork in everything we do.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Fluency in English (additional languages advantageous).
2. Strong background in sales development, inside sales and/or sales management required.
3. Second-line management experience is required.
4. Intelligent, motivated and competitive with a “roll-up-the-sleeves” and “get the job done” attitude.
5. Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills (outgoing and personable).
6. Experience engaging with sales over revenue strategy and creating alignment and outbound campaigns to accelerate their achievement of goals.
7. Inspires a team focused, collaborative and positive environment.
8. Passion for coaching and mentoring emerging sales talent.
9. Experience giving both positive and constructive feedback.
10. Completely invested in driving both individual contributor and team success.
