Job Title: Senior Customer Service Advisor
Location: Port Hamilton, Edinburgh
Division: Insurance, Pensions & Investments
Contract: Temporary with career progression opportunities.
Pay Rate: £13.49 per hour
Shift Pattern: Full-time. 35 hours (5 days per week) Mon – Friday between 8am – 6pm.
As a Senior Customer Adviser, you’ll be handing complex enquiries.
You'll need experience of speaking to customers and have a compassion and a desire to do the right thing for them.
We put the customer at the heart of everything we do and will provide great training to enable you to resolve calls by taking responsibility and providing first touch resolution whenever possible.
At Scottish Widows we provide critical services to millions of Lloyds Banking Group’s Life, Pensions, Investments and General Insurance customers. This vacancy is based in either our Health Claims or Protection support team where you’ll primarily focus on dealing with customer queries by telephone or completing a number of core admin tasks.

As a Customer Advisor you’ll need experience of speaking to customers and have a compassion and a desire to do the right thing for them. The calls generally consist of payments, day to day banking, mandates, online and complex queries.

In this Telephony Based Role - You'll put your customers first - taking ownership of their queries, building rapport quickly and providing the highest level of customer experience.
You'll learn to act with skill and diligence - treating customers sensitively and professionally - caring about helping them in the best way possible.
You'll possess good attention to detail also grow the confidence to spot and call out areas we can improve our customers' journey and experiences.
And you'll be equally able to resolve queries over the phone or on a PC.
