The Role Are you a qualified Management Accountant with a keen eye for cost control, financial reporting, and process improvement? VPI are looking for a hands-on accountant to join their growing finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across UK and European operations, supporting Operations, Maintenance, and Central Service functions while driving financial accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Oversee monthly cost reviews, posting accruals and prepayments. Work closely with budget holders to analyse variances and financial performance. Manage stock, GRNI accounting, and fixed asset reporting. Produce accurate and timely monthly Opex cost reports and balance sheet reconciliations. Lead the consolidated Opex & Capex review with the Senior Leadership Team. Maintain financial controls, ensuring compliance with procurement and reporting systems. Support budgeting and forecasting while identifying opportunities for improvement. Contribute to external benchmarking and cost analysis. Help build and enhance financial processes to support business growth. What we are looking for Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with 3 years post-qualification experience. Strong cost management and financial control expertise. Experience in stock, GRNI, and fixed asset reporting. Ability to investigate variances, interpret financial data, and influence decision-making. Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in financial and Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. A proactive, flexible approach with a focus on continuous improvement. Valid UK driving Licence. Why Join VPI?
