You will be responsible for delivering engaging and stimulating Business lessons across the curriculum, catering to students from Years 7 to 11 (GCSE). Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Delivery: Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and challenging Business lessons, fostering a love of learning and equipping students with valuable business knowledge and skills. Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential. Integrate current business trends and real-world applications into your lessons. Effectively prepare students for GCSE examinations. Student Progress: Track and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to ensure students achieve their academic goals. Utilize a variety of assessment strategies to inform teaching and learning. Enrichment Activities (Optional): Contribute to and potentially lead enrichment activities related to Business (e.g., guest lectures, industry visits, business simulation games). Foster a love of learning and encourage students to explore their business interests beyond the curriculum. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Business Teacher with a minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience (recent ECTs welcome). A strong passion for Business and a demonstrable track record of raising student achievement. Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to keep up-to-date with current business trends and developments. Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to deliver engaging and interactive lessons. A commitment to high standards and creating a positive and supportive learning environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. A willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the school (desirable but not mandatory).
