Job Description
* Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
* Maintain and manage inventory levels to ensure continuous availability of medications.
* Provide excellent customer service, answering queries regarding prescriptions and health matters professionally.
* Manage insurance claims and patient records.
* Ensure the pharmacy department adheres to all regulatory and safety guidelines.
* Work collaboratively within the pharmacy team to optimise patient care.
* Participate in health promotion programs within the community.
* Perform administrative tasks as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Pharmacy Technician should have:
* A recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification.
* Outstanding customer service skills.
* A solid understanding of pharmaceutical operations.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Proficiency in using pharmacy computer systems.
* A commitment to continuous professional development within the healthcare field.
