About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Fuel Pump Installation Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fuel pumps and associated equipment at various sites across Scotland. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our customers' fuel systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Install fuel pumps and associated equipment (e.g., pipework, gauges, control systems) according to industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and identify potential challenges.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on fuel pumps to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
Diagnose and repair faulty fuel pumps and related equipment, minimizing downtime for customers.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to fuel pump systems.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to ensure seamless project execution.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in fuel pump systems.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in fuel pump installation and maintenance.
Strong understanding of fuel systems and associated equipment.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Full UK driving license.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., OFTEC) are desirable.
