As a Service Transition Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be part of a diverse team, fostering collaboration and effective communication with stakeholders. Day-to-day, as a Service Transition Manager your role will be to oversee project execution to meet predefined time, cost, and quality objectives, ensuring customer satisfaction and contractual compliance.
* Establishing and leading multi-functional teams to achieve objectives within set timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
* Leading and managing change through the governance process and transitioning services into service.
* Conducting stakeholder management and managing communication.
* Ensuring customer satisfaction in compliance with internal and external agreements, constraints, and governance.
* Communicating with key stakeholders internally and externally including third party suppliers ensuring transactions take place smoothly and without incurring any blockers or problems.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days onsite at MOD Corsham (Hawthorn) and 2 days working from home.
Essential Experience of the Service Transition Manager
* Previous experience in an IT Service Management role, or similar is desirable.
* Project Management experience.
* Understanding and/or experience of ITIL V3 or v4 is beneficial, though not essential.
* Understanding of commercial and/or satellite communications is advantageous for this role, though not essential.
Qualifications for the Service Transition Manager
* Project Management qualifications in one of the following or similar: Association for Project Management (APM) Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ), Project Management Institute (PMI) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
Security Clearance The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
