Shifts: Mon to Fri. 42.5 hours. 1 in 2 Sat Mornings

Parts Advisors Responsibilities
1. Interpret customer needs and supply goods as requested by thorough knowledge of parts catalogue
2. Stock check and keep an audit of all parts
3. Ensure that all outgoing stock, ICT's and returns are checked, packaged and documented correctly
4. Deal with customer needs face to face and over the phone, giving exceptional service
5. Ensure that usual trading terms e.g. discount levels are adhered to at all times.
6. Accurate booking of workshop parts
7. Pre picking of parts to aid efficiency
8. Invoice all parts supply in a timely manner
9. Ensure that order numbers are obtained where needed
10. Input/extract information from the computer systems
11. Assist with warranty returns and old unit stock returns
12. Establish where VOR orders are essential within authority limits
13. Work closely with dayshift technicians and parts manager/controller
Skills
1. Experience in Administrative roles
2. Good organisational skills
3. Computer Literate
4. Organised and hard working
Requirements
1. Knowledge of the automotive/car industry
2. Previous experience in a parts environment but not essential
3. Knowledge of the Kerridge computer system preferred but not essential
4. Current UK driving license
