Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Operations Director to oversee account-based operations for a global technology organization. This role entails managing operational activities across an EMEA portfolio spanning over fifty countries and 2.7 million square feet. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure exceptional client experiences.
Responsibilities:
1. Account Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for the designated account.
2. Operations Oversight:
Manage and optimize day-to-day operational activities, ensuring efficiency, adherence to processes, and implementation of best practices across seven sub-regions.
3. Performance Management:
Set clear performance goals for the team and monitor progress. Provide regular feedback and coaching to enhance team effectiveness and identify opportunities for performance improvements.
4. Financial Management:
Partner with finance teams to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting. Ensure financial performance remains within a 1% variance and identify areas for cost optimization.
5. Process Improvement:
Evaluate operational processes to identify opportunities for enhancement, streamline workflows, and boost productivity.
6. Team Leadership:
Lead and inspire a diverse team of over 200 professionals, fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
7. Client Satisfaction:
Proactively engage with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns. Ensure exceptional service delivery and act as the escalation point for client-related issues, providing clear and timely communication.
8. Strategic Initiatives:
Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans, focusing on growth and operational excellence within the account.
9. Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate operational risks while ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing operations, ideally within the commercial real estate industry.
2. Strong account management skills with a track record of building and maintaining successful client relationships.
3. Expertise in operational best practices, process improvement methodologies, and driving efficiency.
4. Exceptional leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and mentor a high-performing team.
5. Strong financial acumen, including experience in budget management, financial analysis, and forecasting.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder management.
7. A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to handle multiple priorities in high-pressure environments.
8. Proficiency in relevant software and systems.
