Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant seeking a general TA post that allows you to enjoy working across a class? Are you looking for an opportunity to get your foot into the door of a new school this summer, with the potential to become permanent in September 2025? Are you available Monday - Friday between 8:30-3:30?
If so, you may be the Teaching assistant we are looking for! We are after a L3 TA with previous classroom experience to support the class teacher with class preparation, resource printing, student records and journals and supporting children on a whole class, small group and 1:1 basis. Ideally you will have a high IT ability and be fluent with an IPAD.
You will be supporting as a Y4 Teaching Assistant, in lower Key stage 2 so any experience in this key stage would be desirable. We are looking for someone qualified, experienced, and committed who can provide consistency and support to this class for the remainder of the year. This role is temporary term time, Monday - Friday between 8:30-3:30 with a 30-minute lunch break on a temporary contract for an asap start pending vetting until July 2025. Pay is £13.84 per hour.
Our Primary school is Blackpool based FY1 with local transport routes and local parking available. The school site itself is a new build multi academy with a 'GOOD' OFSTED rating. This school is part of a Multi Academy Trust which means opportunities at sister schools and recommendations are possible!
