E3 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our client, a leading international manufacturing group in the Leighton Buzzard area.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead engineering maintenance and project engineering activities, implementing new maintenance plans and developing the maintenance team through training, coaching and mentoring. As Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will oversee Engineering Projects on site and manage a maintenance team, undertaking the development of maintenance systems, legislative requirements and value engineering.

* A days-based position Monday to Friday.
About the Role:
* Leading teams of maintenance engineers within a manufacturing environment.
* Implementation of projects and systems including PPMs and TPM.
* Developing teams of engineers, improving plant performance and OEE.
* Working closely with production teams to ensure the plant is constantly improving its process.
* Both preventative and reactive maintenance experience, driving a proactive culture, including management of R & M budget.
* Leading improvement projects, such as stores and parts control driving a proactive maintenance culture.
Requirements:
* Proven engineering and maintenance experience of running multi-disciplined engineering teams, supported with a certified engineering qualification - Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
* The ability to take a hands-on approach to challenging the status quo and driving performance forward through leadership in action.
* CMMS experience.
* Proven experience in project management in undertaking both capital and process improvements.
* Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Salary Estimate: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
