Northeast Engineering is a transport engineering company specialising in vehicle motor body building. Established in 1999, we have a reputation for building high quality customised truck bodies for clients across Australia. Our Burton facility employs over 50 experienced tradespersons, and we are on the hunt for a salesperson to join our dynamic team.
About the Role
As a CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Operator with Northeast Engineering, you are responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC Router machines used for precision manufacturing of parts and components.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Preparing files, nesting, and operating Australian Router Machine (Multicam Brand).
* Jig-work.
* Receiving/unloading board products.
* Load and unload material using overhead crane.
* Machine maintenance – daily, weekly, and monthly.
* Machine operation.
About You
To be successful in this role you will need:
* Experience in CNC Router programming, operation, and maintenance.
* Strong knowledge of CNC machining principles and methods.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents.
* Familiarity with CNC programming languages such as G-Codes and M-codes.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Proficiency in using measuring tools for quality control.
