We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic and caring Healthcare Assistant, who is reliable and flexible to join our Outpatient Team, covering South Petherton, Crewkerne and Wincanton Hospitals. Main duties of the job
Experience of working in an Outpatient setting would be advantageous; however, clinical skills training, professional updates and mandatory training as appropriate to the post will be provided. Full details of duties can be found in the job description. There will be an expectation of a flexible approach to shifts patterns and an expectation to cover across the 3 Hospital sites as rostered. Qualifications
* NVQ level 2 or equivalent within a health-related discipline.
* Venepuncture
Experience
* Excellent communication skills. Evidence of recent study or learning and updating on appropriate subjects. Evidence of a good standard of literacy / English language skills.
Additional Criteria
* Hold a UK driving licence and have use of a car.
