Portuguese-Speaking Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support) - Immediate Start
Location: NG33 (Rural location - driving is highly recommended)
We are seeking a Portuguese-speaking Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 3 child in a friendly, supportive school located in the Grantham area. This role requires someone who can translate effectively between English and Portuguese, helping the child to access the curriculum and thrive in the classroom environment.
The role is due to start immediately until summer with the potential to be made permanent for the new academic year. It is a full-time, term-time only role and for the right candidate, the school can accommodate notice periods but will need a committed and passionate TA.
Requirements:
* Fluency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
* Ability to translate between both languages.
* A positive, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children.
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential.
