This role requires an experienced and technically skilled revenue protection coach with considerable experience in complex dual fuel revenue protection cases to provide dual fuel revenue protection coaching, mentoring and first line support. Single fuel candidates considered with up-skill courses available for the alternative fuel type.
Seeka are revenue protection market leaders, focused on innovative solutions. Due to on-going growth, expansion into dual fuel and the successful wins of new national contracts, we are seeking an experienced dual fuel Revenue Protection Coach to join the team.

Key responsibilities...
You will be field based, primarily responsible for coaching and supporting a section of the field based workforce .You’ll spend your time working with the Field Managers to prioritise continuous improvements through coaching and development plans that provide appropriate support and that close any skills, knowledge and behavioural gaps and will also be required to support the design, implementation, and operational delivery of business changes.
You’ll need to be able to work autonomously also in doing this ensure full co-ordination with other regional teams, and alignment with the strategy of the business.
You will be responsible for managing complex, high risk/high profile and escalated revenue protection cases and will also maintain a presence on daily RP duties with the following responsibilities;
- Help create a leading health and safety culture for the Revenue Protection Unit and SEEKA
- Ensure safety first approach for themselves, their colleagues, and our customers
- Visit customer premises to investigate suspected instances of abstraction of electric/theft of gas
- Establish facts and show resilience in circumstances where deception may exist
- Visit customer premises to support debt recovery activities
- Deliver customer service skills – professional, upholding SEEKA’s brand image, showing empathy
- Negotiation outcomes, with ability to communicate the process to the customer
- Use networking skills to build and maintain strong working relationships with local engineers, the Police and Court staff, local authorities, and meter readers
- Represent SEEKA as a professional witness in Court
- Presenting facts clearly and with confidence
- Proactively manage relationships between SEEKA, other industry organisations and local authorities
- Day to day relationship with Revenue Protection Support Teams
- Assist strategic processes with clients, building processes for our field teams and supporting delivery / implementation.
What you'll bring to the role...
You’ll have at least five years’ experience in Revenue Protection, with an impeccable safety track record. You will actively coach and further develop other Revenue Protection Officers within the team so that they are capable and fully competent to work through any issues they may have during their normal day to day operations safely and efficiently.
Skills & qualifications required:
- Extensive experience in dual fuel revenue protection investigations (minimum of 5 years)
- Extensive understanding of Revenue Protection regulations and requirements within the energy industry
- Strong technical understanding of energy theft and metering across both gas and electricity
- Understanding of loss assessment calculation when dealing with various tamper types
- Excellent customer service skills including client facing communication
- Proactive, works to schedule and exceeds KPI’s and stretch targets
- Adept in communications and professional conduct
- Competent users of Microsoft Office and Google software
- Team spirit to assist colleagues and promote the company brand
- Experience of operating mobile IT hard wear
- Proven ability to coach and develop others who are developing new Revenue Protection skills and competencies
