And this is where you come in because we are now seeking our next Sample Dispatch Coordinator.
This is a zero-hours, Bank position.
* You´ll be available to work office-based, Monday to Friday, office hours, with the potential to work up to 37 hours per week. However, you may not be guaranteed these hours every week as these will vary depending on business needs.
WHO YOU ARE
* You have an eye for detail and like things to be tidy and organised. You don’t like mess and you always leave your work place clean and ready for the next day.
* You have experience of working to deadlines and following instructions. You never cut corners.
* You have good communication skills both verbally and over email and are comfortable using IT systems.
* Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
Nice to have:
* Experience of shipping packages or organising storerooms.

ON A NORMAL DAY, YOU WILL…
Learn. And grow. No two days will be the same because you will be exposed to a wide variety of Therapeutic Indications and study types. The core of your work will be supporting international Phase 1 clinical trials. All our teams in Drapers Yard live to answer one question: "is the drug safe?" Under this framework, you will:
* Coordinate the storage (picking, packing, labelling) and shipment of samples according to study protocol and Lab Manual requirements.
* Dispatch samples to external laboratories globally.
* Ensure adherence to correct shipping procedures in compliance with international regulations for biohazardous and dangerous goods.
