Who You Are An experienced Social Worker with a strong background in the child welfare system, child protection, and court experience. You have a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience and are registered with Social Work England without any annotations or restrictions on your practice. You possess excellent communication skills and have extensive knowledge of child care legislation. A full driver’s license and access to a vehicle are essential. You are capable of working in a strength-based manner with children and their families and can effectively collaborate with the child's network, multi-agency partners, and team colleagues. What the Job Involves This role requires you to operate within NYC's defined practice model, grounded on systemic principles, signs of safety, and family-seeing methodology. It is an office-based assignment requiring you to ensure the safety and well-being of children, helping them thrive in their environments. You will work from Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 5 pm, and on Fridays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
