Academics currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Chemistry to work in one of their partnership Ofsted rated academies of 'Good' in Uttoxeter from January 2025. This position will be full-time (5 days) and will be on a long term basis. For the right candidate the role does have the strong possibility of becoming a permanent teaching post and can commence sooner prior to January. Ed, or BA Hons, with a Chemistry specialism, and supported with UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS). Be required to teach Chemistry at both GCSE & A-Leve l (KS4/KS5) and to have the ability to teach and inspire positive learning attitudes. Confident communication and motivation skills in the classroom. Have strong behaviour management with excellent subject knowledge. Be able to adapt quickly within the academy and to be a good team player with staff. Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or to be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS with ourselves (cost applied). For longer-term assignments you will be paid according to your teacher pay grade.
