In your role as a Social Media Marketplace Executive, you will be responsible for growing and managing your product portfolio, which includes products from our e-commerce catalogues in the UK as well as the EU. The role will involve working with our international e-commerce business. This includes managing promotions, third-party and in-house inventory, advertising, pricing, content, and many other tasks related to monitoring and growing the marketplace business. As a Marketplace Executive, you will be monitoring the competitive landscape and keeping up to date with marketplace trends for both domestic and international business.
Roles & Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
* Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
* Drive growth and profitability of our brands across social media channels.
* Plan and manage social media content calendars to ensure timely and relevant posts.
* Collaborate with the design team to create visual content that aligns with marketing campaigns.
* Manage product listings and promotions on online marketplaces (e.g., TikTok Shop and Instagram Shop).
* Optimize product descriptions, keywords, and images to improve product visibility and sales.
* Track marketplace performance, monitor competitors, and adjust strategies to stay ahead of market trends.
* Monitor social media trends and incorporate them into marketing strategies.
* Influence product design, content, and attributes.
* Manage the end-to-end process of product sales and promotion.
* Support a wide range of ATL and BTL marketing activities, including high-profile advertising.
* Build brand awareness and drive sales performance for a growing food supplement brand by effectively trading across all channels.
* Monitor E-commerce account health and deal with day-to-day queries while proactively alerting the wider team of any issues.
* Execute paid social media advertising campaigns and affiliate marketing campaigns across various platforms and online marketplaces.
* Monitor ad performance, adjust targeting, and optimize ROI.
* Analyze campaign data and prepare reports to assess the effectiveness of social media strategies.
* Monitor inventory levels in both seller central and our internal systems.
* Manage product listings to increase rankings and improve customer engagement.
* Configure products on internal systems.
* Improve the performance of the brand with competitive pricing, SEO, and making improvements to listings.
* Support with the setup of new products.
* Keep up to date with best practices for marketplace sellers.
* Any other commercial requirement required by the business.
Experience/Skills required:
* Educated to degree level, relevant subject.
* A creative and intuitive mind.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* TikTok Shop Seller Central experience, highly preferred.
* Mathematical/statistical mindset for analyzing data and trends.
* SEO experience/knowledge.
* Ability to learn how to use new software.
* Strong time management skills to account for working with teams overseas.
* Proactive personality and careful attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and problem solve.
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate agility.
* Familiarity with the supplement industry is desirable.
