You will oversee the creation of social, video, podcast, and branded content aimed at evolving our audience engagement and expanding revenue opportunities.

This role works from our Canary Wharf offices 5 days per week, we are therefore open to candidates based in and around London.
Job Description
What will the role involve?
You will spearhead the day-to-day operations of our London Video Studio, orchestrating a seamless workflow and optimising resource allocation. Managing an innovative team of videographers and editors, you will drive the creation of high-quality original and branded content across diverse social and video platforms, ensuring the flawless delivery of captivating video content for our wide range of Reach brands.
Running weekly team meetings, you'll anticipate resource needs and strategically plan to sustain the Studio’s vibrant output. You will support producers and editors in pre and post-production and on set, championing best practices throughout. You will forge strategic relationships with external partners such as production studios and insurance companies, enhancing our capabilities through collaboration.
Staying at the forefront of video trends, you’ll provide insightful feedback to align content strategies with Reach’s objectives and audience growth aspirations. Overseeing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, you’ll ensure each studio project is completed successfully while building lasting stakeholder relationships. Representing Reach at trade shows and conferences, you’ll analyse performance metrics to refine outputs and elevate audience engagement. The typical working pattern is Monday to Friday but some flexibility around major events is required to keep our studio ahead of the curve.
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
While primarily a leadership role, this position also requires extensive hands-on experience in producing, shooting and editing. Depending on your background, you’ll step in to lead shoots or support edits as needed, providing informed feedback and ensuring high creative and technical standards. Extensive experience in Adobe Creative Cloud software, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop, will help you to deliver multiple edits tailored for various platforms.
You can manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines and reacting quickly to breaking news. Your skills in colour grading, sound mixing, and mastering are complemented by your passion for social and branded content. You are a master of organisation, renowned for your ability to keep schedules running smoothly and efficiently, while managing production budgets and negotiating costs with suppliers and crews.
In addition to your technical expertise, you have experience leading teams with a 'can-do' attitude that thrives under pressure. You work effectively both independently and collaboratively with the wider team, showcasing excellent client servicing and communication skills. You are comfortable in a client-facing role, with experience managing external clients and internal stakeholders throughout the production process
