Here at GXO, we have an exciting opportunity for a full time, permanent role as a Regional Loss Prevention Manager. The geographical base for this role is South of the England, however, you may be required to travel anywhere within the UKI, so you will be ideally based within the travel golden triangle. There are elements of this role that are reactive so this may be at short notice.You will provide proactive support to maximise the efficient management of loss prevention across the organisation. Whilst giving support to GXO management in the delivery of a secure logistics operations. You will review new business propositions to ensure that pragmatic measures are in place to reduce the potential of loss. You will Identify, develop and recommend operational improvements delivering loss prevention reduction at all business locations. You will continually drive to improve customer confidence and satisfaction. Whilst providing expert advice in relation to products available to support operations based on trend analysis, research, and evaluation areas of risk.
You will predominately be working Monday to Friday (08:00 – 16:00), however, we will need some flexibility as there maybe the need to work some irregular hours to oversee security operations during emergencies or critical incidents.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £54,000.00 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Complete Security Risk Assessments at warehouse and transport locations, including offsite parking
* Work with project teams and other departments to ensure new business propositions have considered loss prevention measures appropriate to the operation with pragmatic measures in place to reduce potential of loss
* Work with locations to develop an appropriate Security & Loss Prevention plan which is reviewed regularly
* Work closely with internal operational, HR & safety teams; and where applicable external partners and parties
* Advise on security and loss prevention measures, identifying weaknesses and advising management on preventative measures with regular follow up and escalation where weaknesses remain
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Excellent working knowledge of Security procedures, Criminal Law, and Technical Security Measures
* Able to achieve government SC clearance
* Must have experience and current knowledge of the Rules of Evidence, Police & Criminal Evidence Act 1984, Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000, and Data Protection Act 2018
* Wicklander-Zulawski Interview Techniques or equivalent and Tapa Auditor (essential)
* Educated to degree level or tech level 5 in security management – (essential)
