Consultant in Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat)
We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat) on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful ENT department.

They have been awarded various accolades, including the Care Quality Commission rating for being Outstanding for care and being ranked as the best NHS Trust to work for in the Midlands.
The successful appointee will be expected to undertake various duties within the department, including:
1. Professional supervision and management of junior medical staff, including the observance of local employment and human resource policies and procedures.
2. Responsibilities for teaching, examination, and accreditation duties as required, contributing to undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education activity.
3. Out-of-hours responsibilities, including participation in the Consultant on-call rota.
4. Managerial responsibilities, including budgetary compliance and adherence to standing orders and financial instructions of the Trust.
5. Various clinical duties to be discussed at the time of the interview with the clinical lead, encouraging the development of a sub-specialty.
