About the role As a Regional Business Development Manager at SUEZ, recycling and recovery UK, you will be contributing to an ever growing established recycling and recovery company that is helping customers reduce their impact on the environment. The salary for this position is from £41,870 - £49,114 (plus car or allowance ( £ 7,187 - £7,911) pension/commission). Interviews will be held in either Avonmouth or St Austell You can be based at any of our South West depots (Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Avon) About the role We have some great services to offer, and we want you to introduce them to new clients in your area. That means spotting development opportunities and making sure SUEZ RR UK, is invited to bid for strategically important regional contracts. In addition to driving growth within the region, you will have the opportunity to support our national bid team where required. You will be developing tailored responses and giving client presentations that will result in new additions to our regional portfolio. When a new customer agrees to join us, you will be the central point in negotiating and configuring a contract solution. You will then ensure the new contract is implemented smoothly, working with all the stakeholder, so that the customer has a totally positive experience. In short, you will oversee refining our regional sales proposition, building our profile within the marketplace, and developing a market position for our brand. What are the requirements? You will have a track record of winning and developing large new customers (annualised value of c75K - £1M) therefore you will be financially aware and commercially astute. You will have worked in a senior sales role before and know how to deliver high service levels, create a great customer experience, and manage expectations whilst maximising profits. You will preferably have sound knowledge of the UK waste and resource management industry knowledge is desirable, but it is not essential, as industry training can be given. Strong demonstrable sales experience and previous success is a must have. Who we are The I&C business is structure into 4 regions, supported by additional resources to cover national opportunities.
