Our Client is seeking creative individuals to join their dedicated team across their social enterprise projects. This exciting opportunity will see you support children, young people, and adults that attend their school, college, and adult day opportunities in one of three areas:
1. Ashvale & Orchard Project - a piece of land set over two acres where learners and day clients can access therapy through growing and harvesting vegetables and plants, alongside caring for on-site chickens.
2. The Drawing Room Project – a dedicated art facility to enable learners and clients to develop new skills and confidence through the medium of art.
3. The Jewellery Project – a realistic work environment for those interested in developing their creative skills to produce items that raise vital funds for the charity.
You will play a vital role in the preparation and planning of activities to develop skills, knowledge, and experience to accelerate progress. Your input will make a meaningful contribution to the community and empower service users with skills they can use in everyday life.
About You
This role is an excellent opportunity for you to showcase your creative skills and enthusiasm. You will be able to demonstrate good communication skills as you will be working as part of a small and friendly team and with clients and learners of all abilities. Experience and a keen interest in horticulture and/or crafts in a similar role is preferred, but a willingness to roll your sleeves up and get involved, combined with a genuine interest in the people that we support, is essential.
