Job Purpose:
The post holder will be required to provide an efficient and effective administrative support to the Pay & Conditions Team within the Employee Relations Department and across the wider Human Resources & Organisational Development Directorate as required.
Job Description:
· Provide general administrative duties to include Word processing, photocopying and scanning documents.
· Undertake filing duties for various teams within the Pay & Conditions Team, assisting with the updating and maintenance of files on the electronic filing system.
· Answer telephone enquiries professionally and deal with routine queries, take messages and re-direct queries as appropriate.
· Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail to the Employee Relations Department, sort and distribute mail to the appropriate members of staff.
· Monitor team shared email inboxes; respond to routine enquiries and forward emails for the attention of the appropriate members of staff.
· Assist with providing information requested by the Information Governance/ Litigation Department’s, ensuring a record of information provided is recorded electronically.
