The Role
As a Recruitment Resourcer at THOMAS Freight, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing top-tier talent for Freight Forwarding and Logistics roles across the US and Canada. Based out of our office in Bradley Stoke, working closely with our experienced Directors, you’ll ensure that we continue to connect the best candidates with leading employers in these dynamic markets.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for recruitment, strong interpersonal skills, and a drive to succeed in a specialist, fast-paced industry.
US travel and client visits will also be offered.
Key Responsibilities
* Candidate Sourcing: Utilise various channels (job boards, LinkedIn, internal databases) to identify and engage with top talent in Freight Forwarding and Logistics.
* Screening & Interviewing: Conduct initial interviews to assess candidate suitability and align them with client needs.
* Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market movements, and key players in the Freight Forwarding and Logistics sectors.
* Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our CRM system.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the Directors to understand client requirements, craft tailored candidate strategies and achieve placement goals.
* Client Support: Occasionally liaise with clients to schedule interviews and gather feedback on candidates.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience: Some recruitment, resourcing, or logistics background is preferred but not essential.
* Skills: Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and attention to detail.
* Personality: A team player who thrives in a collaborative and dynamic environment – and loves dogs!
* Flexibility: Willing to work 11 AM–8 PM to align with US/Canadian time zones.
* Tech-Savviness: Familiarity with LinkedIn, CRM systems, or other sourcing tools is an advantage.
