We are looking for a dynamic and motivated nurse with Cancer and Acute Oncology experience who wants to further their career in a fast-paced, lively, and renowned department.
We see the importance of providing the highest standard of care to our patients and therefore encourage our team to take up the opportunities of learning advanced skills. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a group of experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners.
Main duties of the job
1. Holding UKONS triage telephone line to assess patients with acute oncology issues.
2. Carry out planned care for a group of patients without supervision.
3. Ensure the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based, individualized patient care.
4. Assist and advise staff, both registered and unregistered, in the delivery of patient care.
5. Maintain accurate clinical observations of the patient and act accordingly.
