Exciting opportunity for a Dental Therapist to join a family friendly, independently owned fully private dental practice, located in Kirkham, Lancashire. Our practice is committed to providing general dental services and orthodontic treatments, using clear aligners. We strive to create a warm and professional environment where patients receive outstanding care. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Therapist to join our team and contribute to the success of our recently opened practice and provide private dental care to our patients. The practice has been newly renovated with onsite parking, spacious surgeries, all fitted with air conditioning. You will have access to an Itero scanner, CBCT scanner and Phosphor plate scanners.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has a good rapport with patients, is empathetic and keen to utilise their full scope of practice. This role involves working collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional oral health care whilst ensuring a positive experience for our patients, leaving them delighted.
Duties
* Utilise your full scope of practice with referrals from our dentists.
* Develop individualised treatment plans and collaborate with other clinicians to provide comprehensive patient care.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
* Collaborate with dentists, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure efficient practice operations.
* Stay updated on advancements in dentistry, including for modern minimally invasive restorative procedures.
Requirements
Qualification: Fully qualified diploma or degree in Dental Therapy or BSc in Oral Health Science from an accredited institution.
Licence/certification: GDC registration required
Other requirements: Full indemnity, DBS check, references
