Duties The HR administrator will provide essential support to the wider HR team with a range of admin duties connected to the full employee lifecycle (including recruitment and onboarding, performance management, training, reward, employee relations and engagement, wellbeing initiatives, and off boarding). The role is a generalist HR administrator role and will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, data and HR systems. Carry out pre-employment screening, undertaking right to work checks, references, DBS checks, as well as monitor periodical DBS check renewals. Produce offer of employment documentation, contractual change letters and contracts of employment. Data input and management of the core HR system and employee files, ensuring all are accurate and up to date. Produce company organisation charts in line with workforce changes, ensuring charts are accurate. To provide HR support across the full employee life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, contractual changes, benefit scheme administration and leaver processing. Support the People Partners with HR related activities including payroll processing, performance management, and L&D activity. Monitor the HR mailbox, respond appropriately to HR queries or escalate as required. Produce workforce reports. Assist with coordinating meetings. Qualifications & Experience English and Maths qualification (level 3 or above) Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams Demonstrable interest in HR field Some prior experience in a HR admin related role would be advantageous Knowledge of HR systems advantageous but not essential Highly accurate with great attention to detail An organised approach A team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude Good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) Working Arrangements Working pattern: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday Location: office based Training Provided Level 3 HR apprenticeship with an approved training provider Off the job learning time to complete studies relating to your apprenticeship qualification Other related CPD and training such as GDPR essentials, mental health awareness, diversity and inclusion.
