About the role
ABC Teachers is actively seeking a motivated and adaptable Day-to-Day Cover Supervisor to support a range of secondary schools across Hall Green. This position is ideal for individuals with a keen interest in education and a desire to gain valuable experience within diverse classroom environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage classes in the absence of the regular teacher
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans, ensuring continuity of learning
* Support students in their work and manage classroom behaviour effectively

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Cover Supervisor you will:
* A strong understanding of the UK secondary school curriculum
* Previous experience in an educational setting, preferably as a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Flexibility to travel within the Hall Green area and work in various schools
* Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* a similar position or 5 days in sole charge of a group of children in the last 5 years.
