Role: Project Engineer (Fabrication) Location: Dyce Contract: Full-Time & Permanent Hours: 37.5 per week Duties: Project management duties across all assigned projects in a pro-active and effective manner Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing to a wide range of stakeholders Liaise with the sales team to identify and respond to sales opportunities, and prepare tenders, bids, quotations Create, control and manage work packs for respective projects including technical drawings, work orders, BOM's, test procedures, work instructions etc. Track and coordinate project spending while liaising with the procurement team Control and management of all commercial and technical aspects of assigned projects Forecast and monitor project performance utilising company systems Identify potential challenges within new and ongoing projects, discuss with Operations / Engineering to develop and deliver fit for purpose solutions Work with operations and services team to ensure smooth workshop operations including the preparation of any additional documentation Update and manage project folders, databases and reporting in line with the companies accredited QMS Attend, present and lead where required, client meetings regarding ongoing, potential and future scopes Mobilise both onshore and potentially offshore, locally and globally as and when project requires in both operational and supervisory role to assure efficient project execution. Requirements: Degree qualification in Engineering or equivalent industry experience Fabrication background Offshore certificates preferred Key knowledge in mechanical engineering Good knowledge of all standard software packages, CRM, Microsoft office suite, Microsoft Project and Autodesk Inventor Valid clean driving license Please note that this role is based full-time in the office, no hybrid options are available.
