Job Title: Team Manager (Children) Location : Bradford Working Hours: Hybrid Rate : £50 per hour Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for a Team Manager to join the Children’s East, Duty and Assessments Team based in Bradford. Responsibilities: You will provide assessment, care management and social work services to disabled children and their families, arising out of the council’s duties and powers under legislation, Council and Group policy. We are seeking a dedicated Team Manager to lead and manage our staff resources effectively. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing case management to ensure outcome-focused care plans, chairing multi-agency planning meetings, and supervising individual workers to maintain high professional standards. You will monitor team performance, quality assure social work records, and handle all aspects of staff management. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and promoting diversity and best practices are key aspects of this role. Benefits: Hybrid working Excellent flexible working opportunities 6–12-month contract Excellent salary of £50p/h What we are looking for in a Team Manager: Hold a fully accredited DipSW/Social Work degree (equivalent to Level 6 NQF), are registered with Social Work England and have a management qualification or equivalent experience Have a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in Children’s Social Care Experience of working with all service user groups and with service users from the minority ethnic groups Experience of interpreting and applying the law relating to children and / or to adult services Experience of child protection and childcare work and issues arising.
