Summary:
The Contract Specialist will be responsible for managing contracts related to goods, services, and financial agreements, supporting areas such as R&D, Production, Supply Chain, and Field Maintenance.
Below are the key responsibilities and a brief description of the tasks expected. This list is not exhaustive, and the individual in this role will be expected to perform any additional tasks as reasonably requested by the Head of Procurement or the SVP Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contract Management: Oversee contract preparation, negotiation, execution, and amendments. Ensure compliance with policies and regulations, manage contract performance, and provide guidance to internal teams.
* Dispute Management: Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to resolve contract disputes.
* Market Engagement: Conduct market research to support procurement decisions.
* Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align on requirements and expectations.
* Supplier Relationship Management: Manage and maintain strong supplier relationships.
* Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvements for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills & Experience:
* 3+ years of experience as a Contract Specialist, preferably in medical technology or pharmaceuticals.
* Strong knowledge of contract management processes, legal requirements, and the medical supply chain.
* Proficient in drafting contracts and technical reports with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
* Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work under pressure.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
