Description About the Role Potential contracting roles with BUSY Health will be service on demand roles based on local referrals, and would suit individuals or organisations seeking supplemental services to add to their existing workload. This service would provide contractors with the opportunity to flexibly schedule and deliver assessments at mutually agreeable times within Departmental contractual requirements. Each referral is for a single assessment and may be for either a support assessment or a productivity assessment. Assessments may be delivered in support provider offices or workplaces and are negotiated on an individual assessment basis. It is expected that you would engage with people with a disability, their support providers, and their employers to determine support or productivity outcomes. All necessary induction and training to deliver these assessments will be provided, with ongoing support and professional development available. Assessment and reporting tools will also be provided to you. Skills And Experiences Contractor requirements: A Contract Assessor must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in disability employment, workplace productivity assessments or another related sector. You must possess a minimum of a diploma or higher-level qualification in one or more of the following fields: Psychology Rehabilitation Counselling Counselling Social Work Nursing Physiotherapy Exercise Physiology Occupational Therapy You or your employees are: High level communicators Outstanding at delivering assessments Skilled in consulting and providing advice in a sensitive and appropriate manner Have demonstrated ability to assess barriers and negotiate solutions to meet the needs of people with disability Can produce excellent written reports You will demonstrate knowledge of: Duty of care and professional ethics Employment assistance options available to people with disability seeking employment, and Relevant work health and safety, industrial relations and anti-discrimination legislation.
