IC Resources is seeking an Electronics Systems Specialist to maintain and manage a range of survey equipment and systems. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work with cutting-edge geophysical equipment and techniques, enhancing your technical expertise.
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure optimum performance of all survey equipment, overseeing deployment, and testing of new systems as they are introduced.
This position includes:
* Ensuring that all survey equipment meets the correct specification and is optimized for delivering the best survey results.
* Assembling survey systems according to specifications defined for each survey.
* Assisting survey teams with their mobilization requirements.
* Identifying faults in surveys where necessary.
* Collaborating with the R&D team in developing and improving systems for data collection.
* Managing regular calibration schedules for all equipment.
Requirements
For this Electronics Systems Specialist role, we are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of electronic and electrical circuits and systems. Experience in assembling prototype and small volume equipment and systems, fault finding and repairing electronic equipment, and possessing broad practical workshop skills, including electronic, electrical, and mechanical work is essential.
Able to use electronic and/or mechanical CAD software, particularly PCB CAD, this Electronics Systems Specialist should be able to effectively contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
Salary
The estimated salary for this Electronics Systems Specialist position is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
