About Our Client
My client is a leading agriculture business across East Anglia with a large property portfolio. Having been established for over 60 years, they have a leading presence in this field and are market leaders in what they do.
Job Description
* Responsible for all aspects of the Accounts Payable function
* Dealing with Accounts Receivable
* Working with our outsourced accountants to keep updated and accurate records
* Assisting with credit control
* Overseeing day-to-day financial operations
* Answering finance-related queries
* Management of day-to-day bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
* Prepare monthly financial reports including Profit and Loss statements and Balance Sheets
* Assist in the budgeting process and ensure financial plans align with company goals
* Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
* Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have a proven record in bookkeeping and day-to-day management of all financial transactions of a business, along with strong system and Excel skills. A professional qualification would be desirable, and AAT preferred. You must be local to the area and have the ability to work well across multiple areas of a business.
