Job Title: Quality Systems Manager

Direct Reports: 2 QC's and 7 cleaner's
Reporting to: Technical Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the main technical presence on the shop floor.
* Create, update, and communicate all day-to-day documentation related to the Quality Management System on Safety Culture and SharePoint platforms, including procedures, cleaning instruction cards, Quality Attribute Sheets (QAS) templates, and ensuring completed records by operators through allocated QC staff.
* Update GMPs on Safety Culture to drive continuous improvement.
* Carry out Cleaning In Place (CIP) validation and hygiene audits as per documented protocols.
* Ensure compliance with Critical Control Points (CCPs) and Operational Prerequisite Programs (OPRPs) under HACCP guidelines.
* Identify opportunities for improvement in the Quality Management and Food Safety documentation to achieve optimal results with minimal resources.
* Assess training needs and provide quality procedure training to both quality and factory staff.
* Manage and direct trained QC staff and the hygiene team to ensure smooth operations.
* Ensure that retained samples are kept for all products as required.
Qualifications/Education:
* Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification.
* Internal audit trained.
* Experience with BRC or third-party and customer audits.
* Proficient in Microsoft 365 and cloud-based systems.

* Excellent verbal, numeracy, and communication skills.
* Ability to delegate tasks effectively within the team.
* Flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities.
* Ability to follow instructions and ensure adherence to procedures.
