Citi Wealth’s Integrated Client Engagement (ICE) Team’s mission is to drive measurable commercial outcomes, by leveraging Citi’s iconic global brand and deep client relationships, to more effectively partner across Citi’s main business divisions and geographies as we provide comprehensive solutions and advice to help our clients as they create Wealth. This will be achieved by 1) systematic global collaboration across Citi’s Banking and Wealth divisions with a view to identify corporate clients with Wealth needs and individual clients with Banking needs and seamlessly deliver relevant solutions, and 2) strategic alignment of Citi Wealth’s client-facing resources with global wealth creation trends to enable Citi to act as a trusted advisor and capture wealth as and where it is created.
As a team formed in 2024, ICE is seeking a VP-level contributor based in London, UK, to help with this effort in Europe, UK and Middle East and Africa clusters. The candidate must be a highly motivated, self-starter, willing to take on a variety of roles and responsibilities, including but not limited to:
1. Maintenance and oversight of management reporting, data gathering, and official recording of cross divisional initiatives and outcomes, including revenue shares, employee metrics and management of compliance oversight of processes connected with those.
2. Combine an understanding of wealth management and/or investment banking industries (ideally both) and achieve a learning curve to further develop skills to assist internal and external coverage efforts.
3. Coordination of business management efforts, including with business and control partners, related to existing and new businesses.
4. Assist in the maintenance of, and the design of new processes/protocols to ensure efficient processing and escalation of internal and client requests or issues to achieve the stated goals and outcomes of the Group.
5. Work with management and others on the team globally to monitor progress towards strategic goals are monitored and these goals are met.
6. Maintain privacy of Wealth clients and security of MNPI/Insider/Banking data to ensure that sensitive data is only shared on a “need to know” basis with appropriate personnel.
7. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
1. A good track record of experience in a similar role.
2. Applicable experience demonstrated via (preferably a combination of) (i) experience in or working with wealth management industry and (ii) experience with and/or track record of or working closely with Investment, Corporate or Commercial Banking industry or Capital Markets.
3. A demonstrated understanding of operating companies, their organizational needs, and capital cycles.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions.
6. Team player and relationship management skills.
7. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, multi-task, and take ownership of tasks, projects, or initiatives.
8. Extremely organized, motivated and self-starter.
9. Must work well under pressure, hard-working and positive attitude.
10. Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts/requirements and related product/functional knowledge.
11. Experience of working with traditional business software (MS Office) as well as propensity to adopt agile methodologies and tools.
12. Ability to learn/understand some technical implications and potential business impact of system design.
13. Willingness to ask questions, desire to challenge and improve processes and seek out answers.
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred.
