Monday to Friday 36.5 hours per week

What you'll be doing:
* Managing the maintenance and servicing of up to 650 vehicles
* Ensuring compliance, safety and all legal requirements are met
* Overseeing a team of workshop engineers, planning in works and scheduled works for 6 months in advance
* Responsible for the running of a busy workshop which operates over two shifts
* Maintaining safety and compliance
* Delivering cost savings where available
* Splitting your time between office duties and workshop duties

What we're looking for:
* Previous workshop experience
* Experience of municipal vehicles (e.g., RCVs & mechanical sweepers)
* Team leader or management experience would be highly advantageous
* NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification or equivalent
* IT literate
* Good organization skills
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to influence and persuade differing levels of personnel
* Numerate and analytical
* Diagnostic experience
