The Role
As a Trainee Legal Executive, you will work closely with the Wills Team Manager and senior legal professionals, gaining hands-on experience in will drafting, estate planning, and probate work. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to develop their expertise in private client law and take on increasing responsibility as they progress.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drafting and reviewing wills, powers of attorney, and basic estate planning documents.
2. Assisting with probate applications and the administration of estates.
3. Conducting legal research on inheritance laws, tax implications, and trusts.
4. Supporting the team in identifying the best legal solutions for clients.
Client Interaction and Case Management
1. Assisting in client meetings, taking instructions, and explaining key legal concepts.
2. Preparing client correspondence and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
3. Providing updates to clients, answering basic queries, and offering a high level of service.
4. Maintaining detailed case records and ensuring all documents are properly filed.
Training and Professional Growth
1. Attending internal and external training programs to expand your legal knowledge.
2. Working towards CILEx qualification, with full support from the firm.
3. Participating in mentoring sessions with experienced solicitors and legal executives.
4. Gaining exposure to a broad range of private client matters, preparing for future career progression.

What You'll Need
