Main duties of the job
1. To provide a high standard of support and care to Looked After and Adopted Children and their carers/parents.
2. To undertake clinical formulation alongside other professionals and make decisions about the right intervention for a child and/or their carers.
3. To undertake medium to long term identified therapeutic work with young people and/or their carers/adoptive parents.
4. To undertake assessments, Care Plans and Risk assessment in line with the young persons' needs.
5. To work closely with your colleagues in your team who vary from Psychologists, nurses, social workers to Assistant Psychologists.
6. To work collaboratively and liaise with other professionals such as Children's Social Care, Children In Care Nurses, and school staff.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* RMN, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker
* EMB 998 or equivalent - mentor or students.
Experience
* Significant post-qualification experience within a MH setting.
* Experience of child and adolescent Mental Health.
