Assistant Principal – Skills and Adult Education Starting salary - Management Leadership point 23-26 (£59,435 - £63,600) Full-time from May 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter As a Trust we are halfway through our five-year strategy timeline, and with excellent progress being made. At the heart of our plans are our aspirations to deliver, grow and develop high quality adult education services to the local community via our newly formed Skills and Adult Education team. The role of Assistant Principal is a new addition to our senior leadership team and we are seeking an exceptional individual to provide highly effective management of staffing, resources and education services for adults, leading provision at both Richard Taunton Sixth Form in Southampton and St Vincent College in Gosport. This role is essential to enable the Trust to implement our adult and skills strategic plans in identified sector skill areas, whilst providing quality assurance and scrutiny of a high performing team focused on the delivery of adult education. This role will lead an exciting new curriculum plan, whilst leading the growth and development of adult provision and stakeholder engagement. The curriculum plan is focused on the development of the following sector skills areas: • Core skills, including English, maths and ESOL • Health care • Child Care and Education We are committed to widening access and participation, and a key element of this role will be to ensure that the adult learners have access to a comprehensive and high-quality curriculum that is inclusive, and supports adult learners from a diverse range of backgrounds and with differing individual needs.
