We are one of the largest hospices in the UK providing specialist care for adults, young adults and children. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will join the Director Team, playing a pivotal role in shaping palliative care strategy, influencing policy, and building key partnerships to enhance services.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all clinical services within the Children & Young Adults department.
* Develop and implement high-quality, family-centred palliative care models.
* Ensure compliance with CQC and regulatory standards, maintaining an environment of clinical excellence.
* Build strong relationships with healthcare providers, commissioners, and national bodies to influence policy and drive service development.
* Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing multi-disciplinary team to provide outstanding care.
* Drive research, innovation, and quality improvement initiatives in paediatric palliative care.
* Play a key role in senior leadership discussions, contributing to the overall hospice strategy.
* Manage budgets and resources efficiently to ensure long-term sustainability and service growth.
About You
We are looking for an exceptional leader with a deep commitment to paediatric palliative care. You will be an experienced and inspirational clinical professional who is passionate about delivering excellence and shaping the future of children’s hospice services.
You will have:
* Senior leadership experience within paediatric, palliative, or complex care settings.
* Registered with the NMC as a RGN/RSCN
* Strategic vision and a proven track record of delivering service improvements.
* Experience in shaping and implementing clinical governance frameworks.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A passion for family-centred, holistic care.
