Role purpose
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Regulatory Reporting Assistant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support the preparation of regulatory returns, streamline processes through automation, and contribute to financial reporting activities. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining robust financial controls.

Key responsibilities
* Prepare daily reports, including LCR, NSFR, and the Daily Dashboard.
* Circulate Capital and Liquidity reports internally.
Regulatory Reporting:
* Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc regulatory returns.
* Conduct balance sheet analysis and variance analysis.
* Review IFRS 9 ECL data in relation to the balance sheet.
* Support project initiatives to automate balance sheet analysis and enhance data quality.
* Develop and document procedures and assumptions for regulatory reporting.
* Contribute to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes, including adjustments and reconciliations.
* Prepare reconciliations for deposits movements and other financial records.
* Assist in preparing the ALCO pack.
Project Support:
* Drive automation and process improvements across financial reporting and regulatory returns.
* Participate in ad hoc investigations and data analysis as required.
* Ensure financial controls are implemented and maintained to uphold a strong control environment.
* Collaborate with the Finance team and other departments to address queries and ensure accurate reporting.
Key Skills required
* Experience in a financial services environment.
* Familiarity with regulatory reporting concepts.
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Ability to manage strict deadlines and handle multiple tasks effectively.
* Proficient in Excel and financial ledger systems.
* Demonstrated problem-solving and organisational abilities.
