We are searching for a committed and experienced Medical Negligence Paralegal to join our busy Medical Negligence Department based at our offices in Sheffield, Rotherham, and Barnsley.
Medical Negligence Paralegal Vacancy
An opportunity has arisen to work within the busy and successful Howells Medical Negligence department. As a successful Medical Negligence paralegal, you will ideally have experience in Medical Negligence law and experience of running a caseload with a fee earner.
Previous experience of providing a service to clients, both face to face and over the telephone, will be required to support the team and effectively handle general and new client enquiries as well as client documentation.
Medical Negligence Paralegal Responsibilities
As part of your role, you will be responsible for:
1. Case Management: Handle a caseload covering the full range of medical matters.
2. Client Consultation: Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients, understanding their individual circumstances and tailoring your approach to their specific needs.
3. Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research to ensure a strong understanding of relevant case law, statutes, regulations, and legal precedents applicable to each case.
4. Drafting Documents: Prepare and draft legal documents ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with legal standards.
5. Client Relationship Management: Maintain open and effective communication with clients, keeping them informed about case developments, progress, and potential strategies.
